The Porter Belly’s are an Irish Folk – Rock group based in the North of Ireland. Led by frontman Mark McAloon, the talented band comprises the sounds of flute, whistle, banjo, accordion and fiddle, alongside the bass guitar and drums.
They cite some of their biggest influences as The Dubliners, The Pogues, The Waterboys and Dropkick Murphys. The band specifically tailor their set to meet the requirements of each event and they cover everything from Thin Lizzy to The Waterboys and The Sawdoctors as well as today’s chart hits from the likes of Coldplay, Avicii and Mumford and Sons.
