Steph The Sunflower Celebrant

Meet Stephanie, a professional celebrant and as of January 2025, a legal solemniser, based in Limerick, but catering for services and celebrations nationwide.

Her inspiration to train as a celebrant came from her wonderful Mam, who adored celebrations and according to Steph, “would celebrate the opening of an envelope!” Her favourite flower was the sunflower, often seen as the flower of happiness and good fortune, and this is the beautiful inspiration behind Steph’s name – Steph The Sunflower Celebrant.

As a proud advocate for equality and inclusivity, Steph warmly welcomes couples from all walks of life, including those within the LGBTQ+ community. She is a proud member of Entheos, which was founded to serve people who have been ostracized, marginalised or otherwise left behind by traditional faith paths on the basis of gender, race, sexual orientation, ability, nationality, family status or other reason. Steph’s belief, and the belief of all at Entheos, is that rituals and ceremonies are for everyone, catering to those of all faiths and those of none.

As part of her wedding celebrant services, Steph offers couples the opportunity to create a truly personal and meaningful ceremony, portraying their own unique love story, values and traditions. She works closely with her couples, helping them to design their dream ceremony that will celebrate their relationship and the journey they are about to embark on. Her services are tailored to suit each couple and their wishes, be it a traditional ceremony, a modern celebration, or something unique and alternative.

Steph will help guide couples through creating their own vows and choosing special rituals to include in the ceremony. She remains dedicated throughout the entire process, and with warmth, professionalism, and her deep respect for diversity, will help you share your love story with your nearest and dearest in a ceremony that will be remembered forever.
