Vertigo are a four piece wedding band based in Dundalk, county Louth, that play all the classic hits, modern tunes and everything in between. Formed in 1996, Vertigo was originally made up by Clive, Warren and Thomas. The guys spent years honing their craft and sound, and very soon, the band were booked for weddings, bars and corporate events all across Ireland.
The band’s line-up changes over the years, before eventually becoming the original three once more. In 2012, the current line-up was completed, when guitarist Simon joined. New keyboardist James joined in 2020, and the band now play all over Ireland and have even played a few weddings abroad! With music courses, degrees, a wealth of experience, and individual unique specialities in sound and technology, the band is a truly diverse group. All of these qualities, teamed with their professional attitudes, make for a wedding band that are pure quality – providing an unforgettable experience for each wedding they play at.
This talented four piece have over 20 years experience playing within the wedding industry, with a reputation built on the quality and assurance they have provided all of their bride and grooms. Professionalism is key, and the guys keep to the formal wedding dress code, performing in tailored suits. Their custom designed van means that they always arrive in style, two hours before taking to the stage for their three hour set. Their equipment is of the highest quality, guaranteeing perfect timing, and a flawless performance. Their wedding set list includes hits from all eras, keeping both young and old happy and dancing! The guys are more than happy to adjust their set to suit your own individual tastes.
Lead singer Thomas is available to book as an add-on package, playing a DJ set once the band finished, ensuring the dance floor stays full from start to finish. The DJ usually plays for an hour and a half, bringing the bands total run time to 4 hours and 30 minutes of top class, quality entertainment. Vertigo also offer ceremony and pre-reception packages. These include a female singer and a guitar or piano accompaniment for the ceremony, or two males (singing and guitar) for the drinks reception – depending on your tastes, needs and budget.
