“The Power Of The Harp Evokes Emotions In Anyone Who Hears It.”
Luke Webb is an exciting young Irish Traditional Harpist with a background in classical training on the harp. Having graduated from TU Dublin Conservatory of Music and Drama’s Bachelor of Music programme, specializing in Pedagogy, Luke furthered his studies and graduated from their Masters in Performance programme.

Hailing from Glasnevin North, Dublin, Luke began his musical journey at a young age, playing tin whistle in his local comhaltas. His local nursery was also home to a harp, which piqued Luke’s interest and having asked his parents at the age of 7 if he could learn to play, he hasn’t looked back since. Luke says that he cannot express in words what the harp truly means to him. It has become the centre of his happiness, allowing him to express himself creatively in ways that other professions would not have.

Luke has performed and taught at an array of spectacular and notable venues and festivals such as the National Concert Hall in Dublin, the Wales Harp Festival and the Edinburgh International Harp Festival. His original compositions such as “The Centenary Jig”, “Fredo’s Lullaby” and “Natures Chorus” have been debuted both nationally and internationally, and performed on national radio.
