Who is Jamie Skelton?
After seeing a magician perform at his creche as a child, Jamie was mesmerised. Santa Claus gave him a Stephen Mulhern magic set for Christmas and he very quickly became passionate about a hobby that was to become his career. Following a trip to the USA in his teenage years, where he came across a magic shop, Jamie knew that magic was the profession for him. At first, he played small shows and local events for neighbours, but very quickly, he found himself booked every weekend!
In later years, after graduating college with a 1.1 Bachelor Honours Degree in Marketing and Business, Jamie went on to become the first magician to perform on “Ireland’s Got Talent”, and his audition has since gone viral online with over 6 million views! Today, Jamie has become one of Ireland’s leading young magicians, mentalists and MC’s, carving out his outstanding reputation and award winning act, blending together magic, comedy, mind-reading, and hosting duties.
