Elodie is a French freelance wedding photographer who has made the stunning West coast of Ireland her home. Based in county Mayo, Elodie is happy to cover the whole of Ireland, and beyond!
Photography always had a special place in her life. As a child, Elodie would lay wedding albums out on the table and endlessly re-organise them. As she grew up, she began to photograph her relatives, freezing moments of their lives and accumulating countless pictures in a huge number of albums. In 2019, Elodie’s wedding photography adventure began when a friend asked her to capture her wedding day. And the bookings have been coming ever since!
Elodie’s approach is to shoot weddings in a documentary and story-telling way, capturing the flow of your day perfectly. She loves capturing the natural emotions and interactions of people discreetly, ensuring her photos portray the real reactions of the day. She loves to see the bride and groom’s surprise when they see their photos, as when caught up in the moment on the day, they never notice particular photos being taken!
On the day, Elodie will find a balance between natural looking photographs of you and your guests enjoying the day, as well as a portrait session and/or bridal session as you wish. In the lead up to the day, she will discuss your expectations with you, to ensure your special day is as stress free as possible.
