Brian Killeen is a wedding singer and guitarist based in county Laois, who has been performing, writing , and recording music since he first picked up a guitar at the age of 8. He quite literally hasn’t put it down since! Although unsure as to what first peaked his interest, he has been endlessly obsessed with it since.

His earlier years were spent bettering himself as a guitar player, with AC/DC on repeat, and his poor (and very supportive!) parents driven insane! As Brian grew up, he began to sing with bands and quickly fell in love with the process of songwriting and suddenly, this whole new appreciation for music opened up for him. Like his talent, his music career soared, and Brian has been blessed to hear his own songs on the radio and has performed for some amazing people.

Over the years, Brian has amassed a large catalogue of songs that spans the ages, with a real love of the older stuff from the 60’s and 70’s, and from that, his style has grown to lean on the Folk and singer/songwriter side of things.

When it comes to weddings, Brian takes great pride in performing for such a special day.

“It’s a great feeling being able to sing the songs that make up two peoples’ shared lives. It combines everything I love about music.”

He believes your ceremony should be personal, and is happy to learn any song that he doesn’t know, and bring them to life on your day. Brian will provide vocals and intimate acoustic guitar for your ceremony and drinks reception, with the latter being filled with songs from all eras, something for everyone while your family and friends mingle. Brian can also provide music for Day Two celebrations as an acoustic and bass duo, with a set that spans the ages. Brian would be delighted to help and advise with song selections too, and would love to be the soundtrack to your special day.
