Akira Manera was established in 2011, combining its two members’ musical Italian roots with their innovative and international vision. Luca Morisco, founder of Akira Manera, is an amazing multi-instrumentalist and music producer. He founded the Music House, a place where young artists flourish, and are followed along every stage of their artistic production. Co-Founder Davide Lomagno, is an incredible lead guitarist who has specialised in composing music for film and video games.
The name Akira Manera is inspired by the Calabrian dialect “e’chera manera”, and reflects the authenticity and originality that the duo try to convey in every note. Drawing on their inspiration from legends such as Simon & Garfunkel and Stevie Wonder, and many others, Luca and Davide have developed their unique, intimate, and emotional sound. In 2013, they released their first album “Acoustic Remedy”, and this led them to prestigious stages such as X-Factor 2018, the Italian Embassy in Peru and Hungary, and many festivals, theatres, and clubs in Italy and abroad.
