My name is Patrick Cassidy and I am a Humanist celebrant. I provide fully civil legal weddings as I am a legal wedding solemniser and I am registered on the Register of Solemnisers of Marriage under the terms if the Civil Registration Act – Section 53(3).
As a life coach, I have always been interested in peoples lives and their stories. As a Humanist celebrant, I serve the non-religious community by creating and delivering personalised wedding ceremonies, namings and funerals to celebrate major life events in a way that fits with their views.
Equality and Inclusion
After experiencing life through many different career stages, I understand that it’s important to have someone you trust, that ‘has your back’, always on your side, and ‘gets you’.
As a Humanist Celebrant, I’m passionate about gender equity and inclusion throughout our community and can’t imagine ever saying ‘no’ to any couple regardless of how they identify.

We had Patrick as our celebrant , he was absolutely amazing from the moment of our first introduction to him nothing was a problem. He was so kind,thoughtful, and understanding to our needs, and with such fun. Everyone at our wedding really enjoyed the ceremony and it was all down to Patrick. Could not recommend him enough. Patrick Cassidy was Excellent
We had Patrick Cassidy as our Humanist Celebrant for our wedding at Clontarf Castle, Dublin. What an amazing job he did for us making our ceremony so special. We found Patrick on the Humanist Website and started the process. He took the time to get to know each us independently and as a couple. Patrick was very organized and passionate about creating and writing a wedding script. He crafted beautiful words and made it very personal to our story. He was also well versed in the traditional wedding ceremony rituals. We chose Unity Candle, drinking from Quaich cup, and Handfasting. Patrick made them all so special and unique. He truly believes in the bond of Marriage through Love, Commitment, and Togetherness. By the time we got to Dublin from the United States he was like family. What a great way to begin a life together being married in such a joyous and special way. We would highly recommend Patrick Cassidy to anyone looking to get married. Michael & Liz
